Animal Tracker registration for dogs
Having a transfer code signifies to Animal Tracker that you are the intended new keeper of an animal. A transfer code can be sent to a new pet owner in three ways: via SMS (text message), via email, or a breeder can write the code on the microchip receipt and hand it to the new keeper. A transfer code is an eight digit alpha-numeric code (numbers and letters) and should be used by a new pet owner when registering their pet on Animal Tracker from the website homepage. Registration and transfer codes are one time use only and are linked to the intended keepers postcode. If you got the animal from a breeder, you can enter the registration code (if they have given it to you) to generate your own new transfer code providing that you also have the microchip number. However, if you are not given the option to do this, then please either contact the person that you got the animal from and as them to initiate a transfer to you, or click here to register your animal without a transfer code.
